I live in Dublin, Ireland.  I graduated from the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in the year 2000.  I’m primarily a painter (although I’ve done some sculpture and installations as well) and I write a weekly art blog.

The blog is mostly everyday stories about my life as an artist and musings about the art scene in Ireland.  Your comments are always welcome.

I won the Golden Fleece Award for my painting in 2008.   In 2010, I was shortlisted for the Davy Portrait Award and I won the ESB Keating McLaughlin Medal at the Royal Hibernian Academy Exhibition that same year.

My work is in the collections of: The Office of Public Works (Ireland),  AXA Insurance,  AIB Bank, Bank of Ireland, The University of Limerick, Wesley College, the Boyle Civic Collection, Donegal County Council and in many private collections in Ireland and abroad.

I am one of the founder members of the art group called Tondo.  We have had exhibitions in all sorts of strange places – in a railway station, a lighthouse, a public park, a crate – but we also had a show in The National Gallery of Ireland.

I am a member of Visual Artists Ireland (VAI)

As you will see in my Biography, I have had several solo shows around Ireland,  and I have participated in various selected exhibitions ( RHA, Iontas, Éigse, Oireachtas ) and in other group shows in Ireland, England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Georgia, China and the USA.

I am represented by the Olivier Cornet Gallery
