Art Exhibition in Limerick

oil painting by Eoin Mac Lochlainn
Waiting, 80 x 90cm,oil on canvas, 2009

Limerick is Ireland’s National City of Culture for 2014 and the place is hopping, you might say, with so many cultural events, but did you know that I’ve been invited to show my work there – in the old Belltable Arts Centre at 69 O’Connell Street! And the show is opening next week!

The Belltable had a major refurbishment in 2013 and it’s looking great. I’m looking forward to installing my work there. The exhibition, which is another version of the Dídean/ Home body of work, will be opened by Helen Carey, director/curator of the Limerick City Gallery of Art.

And also during May, I’ll be taking part in a group show in An Gailearaí in Gaoth Dobhair, in Donegal, ach sin scéal eile – I’ll leave that one til the next time. In the meantime, see  or see some of the works at:

and a final note for your info: The Belltable is now called No.69 O’Connell Street (!) and it’s managed by the Lime Tree Theatre for the time being.
