If you go up to Belfast town…

It’s nice to get some good news!  The Committee on the Administration of Justice (CAJ) in Belfast is organising a conference on truth, justice and “dealing with the past” in December 2010.  Earlier this year they held a competition to create an image that would be used for a keepsake poster, to advertise the conference.  They were particularly interested in receiving submissions from artists who could demonstrate a keen interest and knowledge of human rights.  I submitted two compositions based on my Elegy paintings and I’m happy to report that one of them was chosen for the conference poster.  An rud is annamh is iontach !
